Trail Riding & Riding Lessons
There’s nothing more Texas than horseback riding and spring is the most beautiful time of year to be outside in the warm sun. The weather is to-die-for and our spacious ranch offers gorgeous scenery with breathtaking meadows, forests, creeks, and ponds. We offer guided trail rides and riding lessons for both adults and children! For a unique horseback experience, try a picnic horseback ride where you will be guided on horseback to a picnic set up for you next to our private lake. When you are finished enjoying your picnic and the peaceful nature, a golf cart will pick you up and bring you back to your lodging.
Fun Activities On Site & Outdoors
We have a ton of great activities ready for you and your family to enjoy without even leaving the ranch and activities can be booked online with your room reservation so that your itinerary is ready to go by the time you arrive! Try your hand at archery, bass fishing, and trapshooting. Take an afternoon and enjoy a bike ride along mild country roads. Bicycle rentals are available. You can even rent a golf cart and explore the ranch at a faster pace.

Off Site Activities
When you’re ready to venture away from the ranch, there is no shortage of interesting things to do in historic Texas Hill Country, a beautiful area with small-town charm and a relaxing way of life. Experience the character and charm of the south at antique shops in Cat Spring. If you’ll be staying with us in April through September, you will have the opportunity to catch one of the popular annual antique fairs that locals and tourists alike enjoy. We also recommend enjoying a scenic picnic in nature at the Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site. Or take a day trip to Stephen F. Austin State Park and enjoy 6 miles of biking and hiking rails and a picture-perfect spot for fishing.
