Here at BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch, we keep our lakes stocked with a variety of fish, including Hybrid Striped Bass, Black Crappie, and Largemouth Bass! Enjoy relaxing catch and release fishing with premier accommodations onsite as well as everything you need right nearby. For offsite fishing, we highly recommend Stephen F. Austin State Park. Make sure and check out other activities the State Park offers, like hiking and historical sites, and plan a fantastic day trip!
Reel in a Good Time
Sit back and fish to your heart’s content at our onsite lakes stocked with plenty of fish for catch-and-release fun. Just $49 per adult and $29 per child 10 and under for fishing privileges as well as fishing gear to use if you don’t own some. For more experienced anglers we highly recommend bringing your own gear, as ours is designed for those less versed in the art of the cast. We ask that visitors not swim in the lakes, as to not disturb the fish. But if you want to get out on the water, we have an option for you! Our Day on the Lake Package is designed to maximize that fun, with your choice of Kayaks, Canoes, or Paddleboards and a delicious picnic for two. Make your fishing trip even more memorable with one of our special cabins designed for the perfect fishing experience. Both our Sunset Pond and Hideaway Cabins include access to a private fishing pond and pier exclusively for lodging guests. Request fishing privileges when booking and we’ll get everything ready for your arrival. Wake up to a delicious continental breakfast prepared with a selection of pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee of course, for those early morning fishing trips.
